Bourbon Street Bistro was born from a shared dream between Chef Curtis Workman, a lifelong West Virginian with a passion for authentic Southern cuisine, and Angela Booth, a dedicated Cabell County nurse from St. Albans. Together, they set out to bring the bold flavors, soulful spirit, and vibrant energy of New Orleans right here to Charleston’s Capitol City. What began as a vision to blend Cajun-Creole flavor with West Virginia heart has become a local gathering place where every meal celebrates good food, good music, and good company.
Our locally owned restaurant serves authentic Creole and Cajun favorites like Jambalaya, Gumbo, Po’Boys on fresh Gambino French bread, Chargrilled Oysters, and Beignets dusted in powdered sugar. We blend the bold flavors and festive spirit of Bourbon Street with Appalachian hospitality for a dining experience that feels both vibrant and homegrown.
Whether you’re here for lunch, dinner, or a round of cocktails with friends, you’ll find a fun, welcoming atmosphere with great music, friendly service, and food made from scratch daily.
Come taste Charleston’s new flavor of the South—Bourbon Street Bistro!
