What is Myofascial release?
Myofascial release is a low load sustained pressure into fascial restrictions.
Fascia is a very strong connective tissue without interruption that is three dimensional throughout the entire body. It surrounds every muscle, blood vessel, osseous structure, and organ. Trauma, injuries, imbalanced body posture, or inflammation can begin a process of tightening down anywhere in the body. In many cases, if left untreated, the restrictions can render a body to life long pain, discomfort, and lack of mobility.
